Dr Helena H. C. CHEN
Helena has vast experiences in arbitration, energy, infrastructure projects and cross-border investments. She is very experienced in acting as counsel in international arbitrations. She has also served as a sole, chair or co-arbitrator in nearly two hundred arbitrations and has acted as an emergency arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings. Helena has been recognized as a Global Leader in the categories of both construction and arbitration and a Thought Leader in the category of construction in Who’s Who Legal. Dr Chen is also recognized as one of the “Most In Demand Arbitrators” by the Chambers.
Alison S. Y. CHANG
Alison Chang is qualified in Taiwan, Mainland China and New York State. She is a Fellow, an approved faculty and lecturer of the Chartered institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). She is also the founding chair of CIArb Taiwan Chapter’s Young Members Group (retired in 2021). She has been listed on the panels of arbitrators of Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei, CAA International Arbitration Centre, Taiwan Arbitration Association, Chinese Real Estate Arbitration Association, Hangzhou International Arbitration Commission, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, South China International Arbitration Center (Hong Kong), Japan Commercial Arbitration Association as well as Korean Commercial Arbitration Board International (KCAB International), and she has been listed on the panel of China Specialist Mediators of Singapore International Mediation Centre. She is appointed by International Chambers of Commerce as a North Asia Representative of Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (YAAF, previously known as Young Arbitrators Forum).

The Chinese characters of the firm’s name indicate that we are a strong team of seasoned legal professionals dedicated to delivering best legal service. The firm’s Chinese name is also a homophone of “arbitration” in Chinese, reflecting our founding partners’ solid expertise in international arbitration. We will assist you at all stages of your business lifecycle from designing preventive measures before arising of disputes to strategic negotiations and dispute resolution proceedings after disputes arise. We are also very experienced in assisting our clients in domestic and foreign court proceedings (co-counsel with foreign firms) regarding challenging, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.
Our domain name (also email suffix), “@triadr.com”, is pronounced “Try ADR”. In one way, they indicate our expertise and confidence in assisting clients in Alternative Dispute Resolution proceedings. In another way, ADR is also an acronym of Action, Dedication and Resolution, representing our capability and confidence in assisting clients to resolve issues through our action and dedication. We focus to deliver value and insight and aim to earn each client’s long-term trust and recognition.
