On 13 November 2025, the Attorneys Academy and ADR Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association (TWBA), the Young Members Group (YMG) of the Taiwan Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch (Ciarb Taiwan Chapter) and the International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (ICC YAAF) co-organized a Conference titled “Young Practitioners in International Arbitration: Career Pathways and Practical Insights.”
Chen and Chang’s partner, Alison Chang FCIArb, in her capacity as the Convenor of Ciarb Taiwan Chapter, delivered the opening remarks. She encouraged young legal practitioners to step out of their comfort zones and actively participate in international activities and training programs. She mentioned that students may register as student members of organizations for free, such as Ciarb, to access relevant information. Chen and Chang’s partner, Helena Chen C.Arb FCIArb, in her capacity as the Chair of the TWBA ADR Committee, delivered the opening remarks. She shared information about the annual ICC Asia Pacific Conference on International Arbitration organized by the ICC International Court of Arbitration and various training programs. She further announced that TWBA will sponsor its young members to attend trainings and the 11th ICC Asia Pacific Conference on International Arbitration in Singapore in June 2026, urging young legal practitioners to enhance global competitiveness and embrace a blue ocean strategy in legal practice.
