On 30 October 2025, Chen & Chang’s partner, Helena Chen was invited to deliver a speech in Session I: “Conflicting Arbitration Clauses: Pitfalls and Solutions”, at the Conference on “Navigating Arbitration in Taiwan: Opportunities and Challenges” during the Taiwan Arbitration Week. Helena shared her insights on the “must-have”, “should-have” and “could-have” contents of an arbitration clause, and introduced holdings of Taiwan and Hong Kong courts respectively on how to solve conflicting arbitration agreements.
