Reimbursement by the ICC International Court of Arbitration:

• Unused expenses

• Tribunal’s fees reduced due to delay in submitting draft awards

• Withdrawal before rendering of a final award – milestones provided in the Note to Parties and Arbitral Tribunals on the Conduct of the Arbitration for guidance and relevant fees charged:

 🌱 File transmitted to the arbitral tribunal:

ICC administrative expenses: 25%

 🗒️ Case Management Conference (Expedited Procedure) / Terms of Reference:

ICC administrative expenses: 35%–50%

Arbitrators’ fees: 35%–50% of minimum fee

 ✍️ One Partial Award / Major hearing:

ICC administrative expenses: 50%–75%

Arbitrators’ fees: Minimum fee

 📝 Multiple awards:

ICC administrative expenses: 50%–75%

Arbitrators’ fees: 50% of average fee

Chen & Chang's Partner, Helena Chen, served as a Standing Committee Member of the ICC International Centre for ADR from 2021 to 2024, which comprises only fourteen members worldwide, contributing to the Centre’s delivery of ADR services under relevant rules. Helena was appointed as a Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration on 1 July 2024. She is one of the few professionals who has served at the ICC International Centre for ADR as well as the International Court of Arbitration.
