Chen & Chang’s Partner, Helena Chen, Delivered the Closing Remarks on Behalf of the Taiwan Bar Association at the 2025 Taipei International Conference on Arbitration and Mediation

On 29 October 2025, the 2025 Taipei International Conference on Arbitration and Mediation successfully concluded. The Conference brought together leading figures from both the academic and practical fields of international arbitration, engaging in in-depth discussions on the development and future trends of international dispute resolution mechanisms.

C&C’s partner and Chairperson of the ADR Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association (TWBA), Helena Chen, delivered the closing remarks on behalf of the TWBA. She highlighted that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the UNCITRAL Model Law, making the discussions on its development across different jurisdictions particularly meaningful. She also expressed her gratitude to all moderators, speakers, co-organizers and participants for their valuable contributions. She believes that this conference has greatly contributed to the continued internationalization and professional development of Taiwan’s arbitration system.
