Chen & Chang’s Partners, Helena Chen and Alison Chang, are Honored to Serve as Speaker and Moderator at “The New 2026 ICC Arbitration Rules: What It Means for Users”

On 3 July 2026, Helena Chen C.Arb FCIArb PhD served as a speaker at the conference, “The New 2026 ICC Arbitration Rules: What It Means for Users,” jointly organized by the Taiwan Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch (Ciarb Taiwan Chapter) and the Taiwan Bar Association (TWBA). Alongside fellow panellists Hazel Tang and Shilin Huang, Helena provided an overview of the key amendments introduced by the 2026 ICC Arbitration Rules, including the practical implications of removing the mandatory Terms of Reference (ToR).

The conference featured opening remarks delivered online by Chiann Bao C.Arb FCIArb, former Vice President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. The conference was moderated by Alison Chang FCIArb, who skillfully guided the panel discussions and facilitated dynamic Q&A sessions with the participants. The practical and engaging exchanges reflected the participants' strong interest in the operational details and practical application of the new framework.
