On 30 October 2025, Chen & Chang’s Partner, Alison Chang, Spoke at the Conference on “Navigating Arbitration in Taiwan: Opportunities and Challenges” During the 2025 Taiwan Arbitration Week

On 30 October 2025, Chen & Chang’s partner, Alison Chang was invited to deliver a speech in Session II: “To Disclose or Not to Disclose: Arbitrator’s Duty in Practice”, at the Conference on “Navigating Arbitration in Taiwan: Opportunities and Challenges” during the Taiwan Arbitration Week. Alison elaborated on the arbitrators’ duty to disclose and challenge of arbitrators under the UNCITRAL Model Law, Taiwanese law and arbitration rules of leading arbitral institutions. She also introduced the “IBA Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest in International Arbitration” and explored the common issues on arbitrators’ conflicts of interest in practice.
